If you're in the market to purchase a new hat, there are several ways to determine what size hat to buy.
Most people don't know where to start, so there are several ways you can measure your own hat at home.
The easiest way is to measure your head.
You can use a standard tape measure, but we recommend using our Hat Sizer.
The device is easy to use, and provides the most accurate measurement for sizing.
It's best to have another person measure for you, and measure at least twice, to make sure you’re getting the same measurement both times.
If you don't already have our Hat Sizer, use a standard tape measure to wrap around your head and mark off the number on your forehead.
What Size Is My Current Hat?
Are you the kind of person that has a hat at home that fits you like a glove?
You’ve had it for so long, and you don’t know what size it is anymore.
Most people would think to take a tape measurer and run it on the inside of the hat.
This method tends to prove inaccurate, not to mention maximum levels of frustration...
The easiest way to get close to an accurate measurement, if you’re not sure what size the hat is, is to measure the hat front to back on the major axes on the open ellipse, as well as the minor axes.
