      Great Hat

      This is a really nice hat. It is very well made and feels like it could last for years! I love the color and paired with a red feather, it brings a nice Island Vibe! Great for summer! The size is just a little snug, but with the winds we have had so far this spring, I am glad for that. I have no fear losing the hat, and it still does not sit too high when not snugged down. It was shipped promptly and with a lot of care. It came in a hat box (inside another box), which I was not expecting at all and will be great for winter storage.

      lovely brim but extremely overpriced... hence the missing fifth star

      nice hat and being of hemp fiber should last far longer than paper or straw with daily wear but this will probably be my last with current price/value ratios. to be honest i have never spent more than $60 on any hat in my life so it took me a while to pull the trigger. not many inwood hemp available on the net and most of what you find left in stock are for small heads. i have bought many a stetson like this for less than $40. the economy is sad but i will go no further into politics. to say the least... i frown upon current hat prices.

      it was true to size. i wear a 7 5/8 and this fit perfectly. had to trim a few loose threads but that is par for the course with woven brims.

      My favorite of several straw hats. This one nails it.

      I have several straw hats, including a larger brim hemp also by Stetson that I like a lot. I was looking for a hemp straw hat that didn’t have such a large brim as my other one, but I was wondering if the Inwood brim would be too stingy for my taste. Turns out it is perfect. The pictures online make it look smaller than it is, at least in my opinion. It’s appearance in person looks way better than the pictures. It’s proportionally pleasing and well-balanced. The fit is exactly what I expected from a Stetson straw, which is just about a half size larger than the same sized felt. The colors are great and the light colored ribbon and edge treatment are classy. I’m comfortable wearing this in any setting with nice clothes or jeans and a T shirt. I’m wearing it today with shorts and a Hawaiian shirt and boat shoes - and it’s great with that too! I’ve received several compliments from people already, and I’m sure I’ll get more. If you’re on the fence about this one then just go ahead and try it. It’s a very versatile hat with obvious high quality, and will likely see more time on my head this summer than my other ones combined.
