This comfortable, soft and crushable hat has proven its worth already in this gusty, blustry southwestern Spring. I need the brim for skin/sun protection, and the stampede string, has come to my aid more than a dozen times this past month alone. Such hats are common here in New Mexico, yet this one has drawn numerous spontaneous favourable comments from friends and strangers alike. Curiously, I saw this very hat for sale at a popular local western wear store a day or two after I ordered it on line. The on-line price compares quite positively to the local store plus sales tax price. I am a happy camper here.

Make and style of hat seem fine, but it does seem to run small or the size listed was off. Did not fit.
