Very pleased with this hat so far. It’s thin and loses shape easily, but then it can be pushed back into shape by hand without steam. It’s a crushable hat, so that’s the point. Not sure if I like the sweatband yet - might be nicer with leather, but that might not roll so well. I wear a 7 1/8 and the medium is not tight.

I absolutely love this hat. I am a hat man and i dont go anywhere without one. Since it has arrived, this is the one. I wear it to work everyday. I live in atlanta and get complements everywhere i go. I will buy another if this one wears out! thin enough for warm weather and comfortable when its cool. Just love it.

When hats are sized S, M, L, XL we are always in amateur hour. Hats are sized properly metric by centimeter, or the old 7 1/4, 7 3/8, etc. Sure enough, this size Large hat is loose on my 7 3/8 head. Fur felt usually shrinks to fit, though, so hard use--sun, wind, rain, etc., will conform it eventually. Foam pads in the band? Also amateur hour. I suppose it's a fair point to say that cloth sweatbands are amateur hour, but that was the feature I wanted for hot weather/strenuous activity such as hiking or dancing.

My new fedora is pristine and desirable. I wear it quite frequently and enjoy the fact that I can fold it when on the go.
