Classic, dignified, masculine.

Impressed with the quality of construction and finish. Very sturdy and rigid. Have used it for one summer now and it has held up very well.

My head measures 22 3/8", and the Medium is fairly loose; just enough that stuffing the lining a bit achieves proper fit.

I recommend putting on/taking off by the brim rather than the crown because this hat has very fine white threads running throughout, so oils from the fingers had started to discolor the threads on the crown divets where I usually grabbed it.

Color not what was expected

I am returning hat for two reasons: one, the color of the hat does not match the color on the website. Website shows a light tan whereas the hat was a reddish brown in color. Second, I should have ordered a smaller size since crown of hat sat on top of my head but would have returned due to color.

Good hat!

This is a great hat and it replaces my last one that was just like it, which I wore for 20 years until it finally fell apart. I gave it 4 starts because, although it fits the circumference of my head well, it doesn't have as much depth as the last version, and my head hits the inside top of the hat.
