      Not For Me

      I've had great luck with Walrus hats; love the quality, the look, and the sizing. The Journey, however broke my streak. The sizing of the large was closer to an XL or XXL. As much as I'd like a hat that is crushable, they just don't look as good, in my opinion. I've also tried a crushable Stetson, and I didn't care for the look either. I'll just stick with the regular hats.

      Since I've already returned the Journeys, I've included a photo of the Compass that was also in my order. I'm buying more of the Compass hats because I really love it. Even though I own 6 different Walrus fedoras, the Compass is the style I'll be wearing on-stage when I'm playing the blues harp, mostly because I forget I'm wearing it.

      Very nice hat.

      This will certainly make you look sharp. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the sizes seem to run quite large. Careful measurement and comparison with the size chart suggested an XL, which I ordered. I probably should only have ordered a L. The self-adhesive foam spacers heled some, but i had to use an additional 2 to really make a good fit. Thankfully I did not feel compelled to return for an exchange, but be advised: order a size smaller than usual or be prepared to modify. I look forward to wearing it out in public and receiving compliments!
